Today I’ll Be a Unicorn
It’s short, 12 pages, as typical of the format, and each two-page spread is one image of Phoebe and Marigold (the unicorn). There’s not a lot of art, but the concept is immediately understandable. Phoebe wants to be a unicorn, until she finds out what they eat. It’s cute and imaginative, introducing the characters to an audience too young for their comics. And who wouldn’t want to be sparkly and sit on rainbows?
Today I’ll Be a Unicorn can be preordered from your local comic shop with Diamond code MAR18 2190. It’s due out May 8. (The publisher provided a digital review copy.)
