Upcoming Science Comics (Revised With New Covers)

A little less than a year ago, I wrote about the plans for upcoming releases in First Second’s outstanding line of Science Comics. Looks like some of the dates have changed, so I thought I’d update the list.

Coming Later This Year

Rockets: Defying Gravity by Anne Drozd and Jerzy Drozd (June 2018)

Trees: Kings of the Forest by Andy Hirsch (August 2018 – was Fall 2019)

Solar System: Our Place in Space by Rosemary Mosco and Jon Chad (September 2018 – was winter 2019)

The Brain: The Ultimate Thinking Machine by Tory Woollcott and Alex Graudins (October 2018 – was Winter 2019)

Still to Come

Polar Bears: Survival on the Ice by Jason Viola and Zack Giallongo has been moved from Spring 2018 to December 2018.

Wild Weather: Storms, Meteorology, and Climate by MK Reed and Jonathan Hill has been moved from Fall 2018 to April 2019.

Cats by Andy Hirsch was planned for Fall 2018 but is not visible on Amazon or publisher’s site. Since his Trees got moved up, maybe this will take that Fall 2019 slot.
