Scott Pilgrim Returns Again! New Editions Announced

Bryan Lee O’Malley’s game-changing graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim debuted in 2004 with Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life (and concluded in 2010 with Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour). That means next year is the 15th anniversary of the launch of the six-book series that I called (and still stand behind) “the defining comic series of the late 2000s”.

There’s been a beautifully cast movie and a card game, as well as various other merch I haven’t kept track of. But it boils down to the books, which were re-released in color hardcovers (coloring by Nathan Fairbairn) beginning in 2012. Now, to celebrate the anniversary, Oni will be putting out omnibus versions. The six books will be collected in three softcovers, available individually at $29.99 each, or in a boxed set ($89.99). That sounds like a lot, but the color hardcovers were $25 each, or $150 for the six.

The new color paperbacks will be available on April 10, 2019, with these new covers.
