Doctor Who: Thirteenth Doctor Comic Will Have 13 Covers (Duh)
Titan Comics is excited by the new Doctor Who, played by Jodie Whittaker. They’re launching a new series, Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor, which will debut with a #1 on November 7. It’s written by Jody Houser and illustrated by Rachael Stott. No plot information is available — before the new Doctor’s show debuts, I would imagine the BBC would be cross with that — but we know that she’ll be accompanied by her TV companions: Graham (Bradley Walsh), Yasmin (Mandip Gill), and Ryan (Tosin Cole).
Since the comic market has once again resorted to variant covers to wring more money out of customers, there will be 13 for this launch. To go along with a female Doctor (gasp!), the creators are also women. And good for them for continuing that theme! Ten of the covers have been released for view, shown here:
Along with these three coming with issue #2. They make the costume look better than I expected!
