End of Giant Days Coming Later This Year

I really enjoy the Giant Days series by John Allison and Max Sarin from Boom! It’s about three university girls learning about life and keeping up with friends while occasionally, odd things happen.

Given that the last few issues have been dealing with the impending end of college days, it shouldn’t surprise me that the series won’t continue forever… but I was still sad to hear that issue #55 will be the last. (#50 is the most recent, with a motley group assembled to play cricket.)

The issue will see the main characters — Esther, Daisy, and Susan — graduate from the third year of university, the life event which Allison has previously stated would be the conclusion to the series.

Five years is a pretty good run, I guess.
