Read Suicide Squad for Free

I did not realize that DC Universe Infinite — the latest incarnation of the service, it no longer has video programming but merely online comic issues — provided a small selection of comics to read for free. (Registration required, as you can’t get something for nothing, and they want to build their mailing list.)

The current offering consists of the first eight issues of Suicide Squad from 1987, the classic run by John Ostrander, Luke McDonnell, and Karl Kesel. Of course, it’s a tie-in to the (surprisingly entertaining) new movie The Suicide Squad, now available on HBO Max. Also available is Secret Origins #14, about the team.

The release that informed me of this says a new selection is coming soon, so don’t delay if you’d like to read these.
