It’s Free Comic Book Day Today!

Today is the national comic book store holiday, Free Comic Book Day! Stop by a participating retailer to get some free comics — and maybe buy something, as retailers do put money into this promotion.

I’m happy that my local store, Westfield Comics, is one of those participating in the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania giveaway. To promote the movie’s release on disc on May 16, Disney and Marvel are giving away 800 “ant-sized Blu-rays”. 16 comic book stores will each have 50 of these “compact collectibles”, as they’ve termed them, as well as digital codes for the movie.
