Cartoonist Cathy Leamy has recently received her master’s degree in Health Communication, and as part of her studies, she was going to make comics-format patient handouts. But that wasn’t the right choice, as this comic discusses. It was an eye-opening read for me, and I appreciated how she considered the needs of various audiences in selecting the right format for the needs expressed.

I have an S-shield logo shirt that I put under any random button-down, left open, and add suit pants and jacket. DC has released this compilation of the end logos they’ll be using for their TV shows next season. In order, it’s Arrow, Gotham, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (the hardest one to figure out, imo), Supergirl, The Flash, iZombie, and Lucifer. I’m planning on watching all of them except Gotham. Andrea Tsurumi’s “Murder Mystery Superfan” is a webcomic that explores the appeal of murder mysteries, subtitled “Why I love bodies in the library.” I share this enjoyment. Tsurumi has some great observations about appealing detectives and the need for order.
