Do Real Publishers Use Kickstarter?

JManga Makes Point Changes in Response to Fan Requests

JManga, an authorized portal selling access to translated manga, launched in August of last year. After ceasing as a publisher a year ago, Tokyopop started making noises last September about bringing back one of their most popular titles, Hetalia. Vertical Brings Paradise Kiss Back Into Print

One of the best series Tokyopop ever published, Paradise Kiss by Ai Yazawa (Nana), is coming back into print from Vertical, who’s expanding into shojo manga titles. The first US edition Re-release Tokyopop cover Ed Chavez, Vertical marketing director, revealed on Twitter that the books will be reformatted into three 300-page omnibus editions with new translations, new covers (different from those shown here), and including color plates. They’re aiming to bring them out in September.
