Love and Capes to Return!
Yesterday, on Valentine’s Day, Thom Zahler announced that he would be releasing more of his superhero romantic comedy Love and Capes, and I was thrilled. I’m a huge fan, so much so that it was one of the four titles I picked for my site header image.
The story of Mark and Abby has progressed from revealing his secret identity through marriage plans, starting life together, and expecting a baby. It’s always been funny, heartwarming, and charming, as you can see in these preview pages.
Now, Mark and Abby are parents. This promotional image suggests the title will be “The Family Way”, coming this summer.
Where? When? We don’t know — but given that his last two projects, Warning Label and Cupid’s Arrows, have been serialized at Webtoon, we may be seeing a webcomic to print collection.
By the way, if you haven’t checked out Cupid’s Arrows, it’s adorable. The immortals Rick and Lora work for Cupid bringing couples together, and their new case involves a driven college student and the local barista. It’s like the X-Files for romance. Just started, with three chapters available now.

Nice I’ll have to give his other two series a look too but am super excited about more L&C. Please be sure to post more when you get information.
I’m sort of out of the comic news loop. As my general interest in comics has wanted over the past year. But I’d hate to miss more if this series.

Crazy happy to hear this. When I first started a convention sketchbook a few years ago (LSH themed of course), the very first drawing I got was Thom doing Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel in Love & Capes style.
Both Warning Label and Time & Vine were awesome series, but L&C will always be my sentimental favorite.
